MVM
Go Reds. Yea, Go Reds....How frustrating. Everytime they get within a couple of games to .500, They go into the tank. '08...Same ole Reds. Solomon
Perez back up with the Cards. Wainwright looks to be brought back as a reliever. I'd personally like to see Perez show he can lock down the closer's role so Wainwright can go to the rotation. Carp/Wainwright/Lohse would be a very nice 1-3 punch down the stretch. Big series this weekend in the Windy City. Don't know why Lohse is throwing today and not tomorrow..... /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

The bullpen brings back memories of the Brantley days. The series this weekend could be a make of break series for the Cardinals. Like you said, I think they should have at the very least made a move to add some depth to the bullpen. It's just not a good sign to have to move Wainwright to the closer role. It's a desperation move, but if that what it takes to stay in contention..I'm all for it at this point.

A lot depends on Carp and Wainwright, but I've given up figuring out how they will play out the last month and a half. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Wasn't that long ago they limped into the playoffs and won the World Series. The Brewers have been on fire though.
