Thanks pujo , thats a good win for us , I believe the first time Cosby has ever beaten PF at any level of football!

The dude who posted above you was right about the zebra crew , what a wreck that was all night we had almost 300 yards in penalties and still pulled out the W. But to be fair PF got the shaft a time or 2 as well.

 

Zebras wern't so great at Hampyon tonight either,didn;t really change the outcome of the game or anything, just not very good.

way to go COSBY!!!!! Heard tiger fans mention refs... they ere not on our side ... they kept you in the game. i knew when pf did nt take off helmets durin the anthem we would out class , out play and yes out coach em. great job all players and coaches ..UNDEFEATED!

Real Pigeon Forge fans, never said it was the refs. The difference between the real fans and the "new breed of fan" is we know that we got whipped like a dog, and out coach had a brainfart and will admit it. All I know is with Cosby having one timeout and only 41 seconds on the clock, two knee's and we win the game. As hard as it is to say this, its going to be hard for Lee to get alot of his fanbase's confidence back after last night. I also don't like our QB playing on defense either, one back injury and look what happens. He was out for one play on offense last night becuase of injury, the backup comes in and doesnt get the snap. Lots of problems need to be worked on and worked out before Friday night or Rutledge will lay one on us. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Congrats to Cosby. It looks like the PF players should have been watching game film of Cosby Thursday night instead of being at the Gatlinburg Pittman game holding up signs. What a classless act and undisciplined team. Now to the game. Take a knee and get a win. That's all that had to be done. There better not be any PF fans say "oh don't worry Lee will fix it" ever again.

Replay showed the running back was down and cosby grabbed the ball from him an the rest is history. The refs were a joke.

I will agree 100%, the refs were AWFUL! (on both sides) But whose replay are you watchin? If there was replay in HS football last night's game would've taken six hours to complete. I'm certain both coaching staffs have seen plenty of video evidence of the worst officiating crew in history.

I mean really; has there ever been a game to start with 5 consecutive penalties on the same team?

Get a copy of tomorrow mornings newport plain talk theres a perfect pic of that play , I've seen it .......your replay is wrong. BUT the refs were terrible for both teams!

 

Penalties/ yards

 

Cosby 13 for 155 (including a 45 yard td run brought back)

 

PF 5 for 50

I just saw that picture. You're right, it is perfect!!! I wasn't going to be so quick to argue because I wasn't certain, but now that I've seen that....

That's what you call "undisputable evidence"!!!!

BUT I still maintain that the refs were awful for PF as well.

      Tax payer dollars are paid for certified teachers to "teach" and then coach. The primary job is to teach.  There are some district that ay awesome supplements and others that don't. Dyersburg and Dyer County are pretty close if I remember correctly. I would imagine that Football and basketball are above $10,000 now.  I've heard that Milan is $20,000 for boys basketball. I would imagine that football is more than that in Milan.  Collierville has camps that coaches get paid extra for. 3 camps a year, 100 kids a camp, $30,000 right there.  There are places like Memphis-Shelby County schools where the supplements are garbage even for the head coaches. I made less than $3,000 as the head assistant at Germantown in 2015 when we were 26-4 and one of the best teams in the Southeast. As a head middle school coach next year I will make between $4-5,000 at a municipal in Shelby County.  Coaches should be compensated for the jobs that are required but lets keep in mind that they are educators first.  It's pretty frustrating to other teachers that work their tale off teaching 6-7 classes a day to watch someone roam campus, not teach (or have very minimal responsibilities), and get paid the same (more with supplements) as a person who has the some years of experience or sometimes less.
