District 7A 2002-2003

How exciting will it be this year in D7A? Summer camps have long since gone and strength and conditioning has now started heating up. With teams losing great talent after last season, this one should be a barn burner. Tell me how your team has shaped up over the summer and tell me what your predictions are for D7A this year.

ok i was just wondering if this district was just weak or if RBS was that good because i saw them play at camp some this summer and i dont think they were good enough to win a district

I did not say they were the greatest team that ever lived. Personally I don't think that they will get any farther this year than they did last. Those rankings that I posted are exactly how the preseason rankings will be. I don't think they will be like that when the season is all over. They talked a lot last year about how RBS would be ranked 1 or 2 at the beginning of this season. They will be over rated much of the season.

I thought Pickett would be pretty good this year.... I saw them play Jr. high a couple of years ago and they whipped everyone.... why aren't they going anywhere now?

RBS, Celina, Clarkrange, Pickett County will be in a war for the top spots. Monterey and Hermitage Springs will make it interesting if they can pull of some big district wins. The key for the best team this year will be to win all your district home games and hope to sweep a at least three of the teams if not four.

I know that all the talk always surrounds Pickett and how good they always are but this year I think Clarkrange will be the only team in 7A to compete at any level. Thompson and Green will make all the people of the upper cumberland say Aaron Who? and Crouch Who?

thompson and green are good and they should win their district next year but never will they make people forget about nathan and john they were great basketball players and nobody is gonna take that away from them. so don't say that green and thompson will cause neither of them will make people forget about nathan and john.

i'm not stuck up clarkrange's butt...... i'm just tired of hearing all those loser pickett fans complain about getting hosed on this call or losing this coach or having this star transfer..... it will certainly be a nice change seeing someone else dominate 7A.....

I guess you were never good enough to dominate anywhere or you wouldnt be on here talking smack for clarkrange. if they were good enough , you woulnd't have to say anything. i guess "losing around star and coach" or whatever you said has helped us to the state the past 3 years. too bad duhuh

greene and thompson are both great players but you are absolutely crazy if you think that anyone would put them two in front of the performances that nathan and john showed, sorry not going to happen. now Greene and Thompson may be the best two in the district this year but if crouch and nathan were back there they would be the third and fourth best player.
