2009 Hit After Hit 14U - Coach Announcement and Tryouts on 8/30

Hit After Hit 14U 2009 Team will hold its first tryout this Saturday, August 30th from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. at Nashville Christian School in Nashville (Belleview area).

Hit After Hit is pleased to announce that Eric Fruechtemeyer and Jason Anderegg will coach the 14U team for 2009.

 

Eric Fruechtemeyer grew up in Cincinnati, OH and attended Moeller High School. Upon receiving a baseball scholarship to Belmont University, he moved to Nashville and played 4 years at Belmont. He began his coaching career at Iowa Central Community College as a recruiter, catching coach, and hitting coach. Eric returned to Tennessee to coach at Cannon County High School, and later went to Lambuth University in Jackson, TN as an assistant coach. He is currently the head baseball coach at Nashville Christian Academy, a K-12 school in Belleview.

He coached summer baseball every year except this past (2008) summer. Eric had coached a group of boys since their 13 year old baseball year, and coached them through their graduation year from High School in 2007. Thirty Five players from his summer teams have gone on to play college baseball, and three of those players were drafted to the Major Leagues.

 

Jason Anderegg lives in Jackson, TN where he is the pitching coach for Lambuth University. Upon completion of his duties with the Eagles? college season, he will head to Nashville for the summer and will concentrate on pitching with the Hit After Hit team.

Jason has prior college coaching experience at Iowa Central Community college, and was also a coach of the Twitty City Knights GNABA team, a team he helped coach with Eric Fruechtemeyer up until 2007.

Had an opportunity to meet the new coach from WC last night.

WC managed to land a quality coach for their wrestling program!

Coach Kramer has 20 years experience, and will be the best wrestling coach

that Wilson County Schools has ever hired. (As some know, they have passed

on atleast three great coaches in recent years)

Quality coaches are hard to find.

Congrats to Wilson Central and Principal Mayfield for doing what it takes

to excel instead of just participating!

 

After talking with him, I am convinced that he is the real deal. He will

have his returners ready and he has a plan for the new guys as well.

Keeping the JV interested and motivated builds wrestling programs!

In true Hit after Hit fashion it looks like you have 2 very good coaches. Another major plus is you will not be playing "DADDY BALL" like many of the other programs.
