Why even go? Partially because it's worth seeing if Unicoi Co. will again show backbone and contend with a quality Johnson Co. team, and partially to see the Longhorns Phipps and the Blue Devils Whitson orchestrate their offenses.

Because we have seen them both. Whitson is the better QB. Phipps is more physical and is faster but makes bad decisions and is not as accurate as Whitson. Ethan Bennette will be the best RB on the field. Prudhome is an athlete but his QB does not do him justice. The one thing J County has a trump card on is attitude. They will open up with gangbusters. No matter, Whitson is a picture of poise and control...even under duress. However, the rest of his team does not posess his strength and leasership ability. With Corey Headley and Ethan Bennette is see Whitson threading the needle.

 

If this game is not the game of the week then it should be. If Unicoi sees the South/J County game film then Whitson will pick the Longhorns apart.

 

J County...I have always been your advocate and have always had your back. In the past you played tough and respectable. Sometimes a personal foul or two but that just shows your grit. But the technique of your D linemen grabbing the ankles of our O linemen was below you. You lost my respect on that one.

OK crybaby. Look you won the game vs JC, you blew us out. So quit complaining about what our D line did. Noone got hurt the zebras didnt throw a flag, its did not affect the outcome of that game or the rest of your season. Im just tired of hearing all you South fans cry about that, its over you won the game move on in life. and do you think for one second that losing your respect bothers a single person in this county?

Well Its going to be one of the few good games this week, except north and tn high. Its going to be a challenge for Jc to contain Ethan Bennett while worrying about Headley cathing bombs from Whitson and vise versa. Unicoi has 3 receivers in the top ten. Headley being third is just an extra. Unicoi has one of the best passing attacks around. Whitson is a great quaterback and will be ready for Jc.

This should be a good close game but Erwin seems to find a way to lose the close ones 28 to 27 to Hampton and 27 to 23 to Bristol. I feel they will find a way to lose this one also, although being played in Erwin may factor in the final score.
