Well the rankings did change, but it was only a re-shuffle of the teams that were already ranked. So the records of the ranked teams did not change.

I noticed there have been alot of views on this thread, but not really many comments. I find that Curious /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />/blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

I hope that my spelling of the schools are correct this time. I know how that is ....remember I'm from Soddy Daisy. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> You don't think, I have'nt seen some weird spellings in my day. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

I think it shows that there is certainly a correlation between those teams that play top opponents and being ranked themselves. The better the record, the higher the rank. Having said that, polls don't automatically turn into championships, and we can expect a few of these to not survive district or regions (for some, it's a mathmatical certainty). It also doesn't show you who might come out of left field to make a run in the playoffs

For almost all of these teams, even if they lost certain matches, they are probably better prepared to make a post season run than had the choosen to play a cream-puff schedule.

Wellllll, no actually, and not to get off point, but though some at the high school may want to drop it, the city is hyphenated and all things officially Soddy-Daisy are hyphenated as such.

Not a fan, but I do respect the Lady Trojan soccer team from Soddy-Daisy.
