Nice for you to take the time and call me out by name... it's ok... I'm famous anyways. With that said, I think it would be fair to ask you your name and your involvement with the CCHS program. Also, I want to know why you obviously never stepped up and attended any of my programs, workouts, clinics, or other things I was assisting other members of your team while I was in the area? For me not to have a "dog in the fight" is way off.... other than being an alumni, a former athlete in 3 team sports at CCHS, a former teacher/coach/trainer, and having wasted a little over a year and a handful of weeks dealing with the school board, athletic director, various coaches, and having my name brought up in the local paper via stories and letters to the editor about my positive envolvement..... I think that would qualify for some type of "dog in the fight". Besides I owe any response or future involvement to the current athletes I have trained at CCHS and for the parents, coaches, and athletes who did support me and my programs.... not any naysayers, people who stated that athletic performance training was "useless and overrated", and especially anyone who thinks the things I did was not in the best interests for their own kids, teammates, and teams at CCHS.

I await your reply sir ("CCHS21")... by the way, there is a speed clinic in Jefferson City on March 14th. Please see that post on this message board. Would be an invaluable resource for you and your teammates for the upcoming season.

CCHS21 you got burnt man!!!

I would not go that route and say burnt, more like an educational lesson. Heck if this individual would come to Florida, I would give him a free training session or two to show him how a real athlete trains. Obviously with the type of training and the methods that I showed a small handful of athletes in Newport, this guy (cchs21) must of thought that the basic running and lifting was good enough to just get by. All I can do is extend an invitation and let this guy come train with some of the high school players I train now that have already signed scholarships and will be playing at the next level at Miami, Harvard, ECU, Mount Union, South Florida, and Jacksonville. I create speed freaks and people who want to win, dominate, and torch any competition that comes their way. Thats all I tried to do in Newport with some of the CCHS players, show athletes how to train effectively so that they could be predators and not the prey. I got ran off by people who said that they did not need my help and thats fine by me. Problem is.... I have worked with many professional athletes and even NFL teams, so when the adults and coaches cannot come to me directly and ask or advise me to stop working with their players, other than telling their own players that training like a pro athlete is worthless and cannot help........ I guess thats how you win 2 games in 3 years... truth hurts. I want CCHS to do well, but until they can hold players accountable and have some pop and vigor with their offseason workouts, it's going to be hard... even with the new classification. If the winning programs can make athletes, so can CCHS!

cchs21, anytime you would like to go to work, come on down with #13 from your own school and #10 and #85 from Cosby, and even #8 from GP. All will be down here at some point and vacation will be the last thing on their mind.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
