I actually like all of the Cosby posters that I've met. The other back you are referring to is one of my all time favorites from Hampton, but he just wasn't the back Adam was. He waasn't as strong ,big or fast. Hampton was not even close to 100 percent and still won. It took Hampton about 3 weeks to get over Adam being out, but they did get over it. He was sorely missed.

Somebody call Adam and make sure he gets to read this post /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

i would hate to say that hampton got better when i got hurt.... but on thing it did help them do is to learn how to pass.... and not just pound it on the ground every down... jon lyons was a great reciever and me and him both tried to get the coachs to throw the ball more....hampton is the better team and has been for the last 4 years....

cosby does not have a better team than hampton they have a better special team.... and had a much better coaching staff that game......

Those kicks were not tricky or even something Cosby was doing to get the ball. Hampton just blew it. Grace kicked it the same way.

IMO It would be hard to practice for those because his accuracy was amazing. Most kickers would probably have to try a bunch of kicks to get that kind of placement. And (I'm guessing) coaches don't want to "waste time" while their kicker tries to put in that spot. Again I'm guessing or just putting this out for discussion because I don't claim to know anything about football /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

Hampton was the LUCKY team Friday, lucky they didnt get humiliated by the Eagles, three trips to your red-zone in the first half, and a dropped pick-six, if you add that up without the PATs and its a 50 point night for the Eagles! Yall were better than us the past few years and this year we are better than yall, not just one game better, but better on average, we recovered 4 pooch kicks, not onsides kicks, and blocked a punt, we also physically abused yall the whole game, wether you want to admit it or not, 2008 Eagles are better than the 2008 Bulldogs. The only thing that stopped us Friday was penalties and ourselves, and thats also the only thing that helped yall score 22 points. Yes, in the past Hampton has been traditionally better than we have, but this year the Eagles are the better team, oh and special teams just happens to be quite a big part of the game, just ask anybody who plays Virginia Tech or look at General Neyland's Game Maxims, so us being better at special teams was an important part of that game Friday, but we were better everywhere else to. I am a Hampton supporter as long as they are not playing the Eagles but yall need to quit drinking the koolaid, at least you do this year, its gone bad boys, its gone bad! Good luck the rest of the year and I HOPE we will meet in the playoffs to settle it once and for all, but according to some people we might as well just stay home on playoff night. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="

Coaches don't like putting the ball in the air If they can beat you by running the ball. Hampton had to mix it up alot more after Adam went down. Worked pretty well after they got used to it. Chucky Doak nearly beat them while they were trying to adjust. Iwouldn't say ,Hampton got better , they just used more people. Michael and Jon tyrned into quite a show.

if this,,, if this,,, if this,,,, if this,,,, we made mistakes, cosby made mistakes.... it happens.. that is what makes football so exciting... if it wasnt for mistakes the game would never see any touchdowns or tackles.... me and pujo talked last night at his sons and my cousins game.... and we both said that special team is one of the most important asspects in football..... and you can put a bunch of freshmen on the front line... but o well we lost... we were out coached.....

We only have two juniors on our KO coverage team, and neither one of them recovered either of the kicks we got, actually a freshman recovered two, nice excuse though, and yeah we did both make mistakes and its a good thing or we wouldve really pounded that hinny! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

we got beat plain and simple... you never heard me say one bad thing or excuse at all... special teams is what lost us the games... yea it is a good thing that we had about 5 or 6 turn overs or we would have pounded that hinny! /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> any way... we are a better team... with better player and coachs..... we just lost that night...

im not saying that hampton will do much in the playoff but i promiss that cosby will lose to grace and not go anywhere in the playoff 2nd round tops....

Plain and simple, Hampton stunk it up on special teams. Even with Cosby keeping the ball the whole second half, Hampton had nearly as much yardage. Now if Cosby got this kind of stuff on special teams all the time, I would give them the credit. Let me know when this happens the next time.

O.k. good luck the rest of the year, like I said maybe we'll be lucky enough to see each other in the playoffs.

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
