Fanofall
I think that the best players in the Big 9 are from the Senior class besides Bailee Dick from South, he is a solid point guard but turns it over too often. And Clint Freeman from Crockett. he does the scoring from them and he's the only one. But it starts out with the top players from DB and Science Hill as the best players in the conference. (in no particular order) Odem, Chris Smith, Sylvester, Halvorsen, and Adams. Then the top two posts are Edwards and Larry Smith. No other team in the conference has a post player with any skills. Should be a weak yr for the Big 9 in that department. So look for Edwards and Smith to rule the paint this season. Should be a nice battle between the two come the beginning of January. bmj4life
Not so fast my friend. Andrew Pickwell, Logan Blair, and Bailee Dick are all very talented Jrs and among the best in the conference. Look for South to compete for the title next year! Floor_General22
chase depew is NOT a senior hes only a jr. but a great shooter I'm interested in your definition of "great shooter". Not knocking anyone here, but I think the word great is used a bit to much. Lets make some comparisons here. Todd Halvorsen, Josh Odem, Clinton Freeman, Aaron Bennett just to name a few. Just on his own team you have Koree Deeb and Jordan Cross. All of these guys are already proven shooters.

I think the term is thrown around very lightly to people who have not proven themselves yet. We will find out who is a great shooter and who talks about being a great shooter in a few weeks

To say no other posts have any skills shows your knowledge or lack there of, of all the teams in the Big 9. Don't count out the two posts from Central. Both can play with Edwards and Smith, might not be 6'7" but both can play. Wait and see what happens when these teams hook up. South has a Jr post that has some good moves also. So does Crockett. Does anyone know the schedule for the jamboree?
