I wanna say Brentwood big, but they have struggled with athletic teams in the past (see Hunters Lane). Brentwood will win, but maybe not by as much as you think.

Hey Pops-Thanks so much for your concern, but maybe the Bruin supporters have realized that a bunch of talk on a message board doesn't win you games...see the Franklin/Brentwood thread. Oh, and to address another of your posts, Franklin didn't "let" Brentwood hang around all night. The Bruins controlled their own destiny. Take a page from other Franklin fans and own up to the fact that Brentwood played better football for four quarters that night. Good luck with Hunter's Lane Friday...

Antioch is not athletic.

Crawford will have his troops zeroed in for the playoffs. The offense is getting very productive at putting points on the board, and the defense can be counted on for at least a TD each game. Getting healthy will be the main point.

 

Game planning is a given, and game planning against a coach who has been to the playoff wars every year either at Riverdale during their glory years, or Brentwood since 2002, is not an easy task.

 

HL got the win against the least imposing Bruin teams in a long time the last two playoffs. One victory came inexplicably on a ref's complete botching of an extra point call that was kicked too fast for him to see, I guess.

 

Athletic teams don't bother the Bruins. If they want to run east and west, they will be there to greet them-hard and physically.

 

This may turn out to be the best Bruin team since their state championship squad.

Bruins supporters care passionately about their team, but as mvs-brentwood points out we prefer to leave the talking on the field of play, not on these message boards. From some of the misguided, childish comments that I have seen on several other topics it is no wonder that most of the Bruin faithful have decided to hold off on resorting to that kind of negative and non-productive effort. Winning with class and style gets my vote everyday!!
