sb38devils
Is there anyone who thought it would be different?. Good Luck to Phil we do have him to thank for 98 but some times people just stay too long. What Tennessee now needs to do is get hard as nails coach to get the discipline back in the UT football program and quit recruiting this athletic Phenoms with a terrible lack of character. You can find the best football player in the world and if you can't keep them on the team because they can't behave you have nothing. Find some kids that love to sport and want to play the game and work hard in the classroom and UT fortunes will change. My blood bleeds Orange but this will be the second year in a row that Vanderbilt hands Tennessee a loss. Any predictions on who they will hire to replace him? I vote Spurrier bring him home to Tennessee. Knoxville is too close to home and we can find him plenty of places to play golf.

westtnman
I keep hearing Bill Cower as possible replacement. I just bet he could instill some discipline.

goosevol
I'll miss Phil. I hope we get Kippy Brown.
sleeper3773
It's funny his overall win percentage there is around .750. But this season has been horrendous at best. I think this is the right move. Good luck Phil....
