WHH VS USN. 11-21-08

Lady Patriots win the battle in Nashville 56-43 over University School Of Nashville.

Chelsea Hannah led all scorers with 24 points and 6 players from Heritage scored points in the game.

I counted 5 blocked shots in the game and credit a great defensive effort in the win.

The Lady Patriots outscored USN 14-4 in the final quater to hold on to the victory.

Keep up the good work.

Coach Phillips retired from teaching in TN. He had enough years in to do that. He is teaching and coaching in KY. He lives in Clarksville, so the drive isn't that different, but the pay increase is! I believe he is within 3-5 years of retirement for good, and his move was an attempt to help increase retirement benefits.

White House-Heritage returns 3 starters, Hanna(SR) Upton(SR) Ray(S0) from last years team then Dorris(JR) and Traughber(JR) who were the sixth and seventh player off the bench most of last yr. The first Three had P.T. on the District Championship Team of 2006-07, that team was one win away from the Regional Championship (2pt loss to MTCS). Who then lost to eventual State Champion Forrest.

They WILL be ready for district play. Don't get your hopes up for Hobson getting 10A MVP... she will have to beat out 5 year starter Chelsea Hanna first. I agree with you Hobson is an awsome player. (WH-Heritage is a school that houses 6th grade thru 12th grade hence Hannas 5, Ray played as an 8th grader too )

From McEwen and WH Heritage I believe the compitition level drops off with NCS, Houston Co, Jo Byrns, East Robertson, Clarksville Aca, following somewhere behind them in that order.

It Would be nice to see a push from District 10 A for once in post season. I am tired of dealing with Aunt Kim =)

It is time for BASKETBALL. Good luck to all.

Bluie....You know you love me /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> ....Good luck to your team this year and all in D10!!!

Ok AuntKim I admit it..........I do love you. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> there! I was wonderin how long it would take you to catch that.

We had an injury to Chelsea Hannah during warm-ups at Monday nights game.... she stepped on someones foot and rolled her ankle pretty bad . She didn't play in Tue game either. Looks like a sprain. Its a good thing we are out for the Thanksgiving break and dont have a game until next Tue. At Community. The dreaded ViQueens, right. We have started 3-0.

Good luck to your team too.....who is it.......oh yeah, Forrest. Hope they like the new Coach.

I don't think you should count out NCS, they have a real good guard named Tori Hulan, who was hurt last year during the district tournament against WHH. She has proved she can keep up with even the best, and is no doubt the best player at NCS. I think with her, only being a junior, NCS still has a chance to do some damage this year and beat some teams they are not expected to beat. I'm curious to see how WHH and McEwen handle her. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

I agree the NCS Lady Eagles could upset a few teams this year but they are very young. NCS starts 1 Freshmen (00 Chandler Martin and 2 other freshmen who are twins by the way (24 Ashton and 11 Addsion Dillon-Curtis) get a lot of playing time off the bench. Tori Hulan is a very tough player who can shoot 3's as well as drive to the basket. NCS started 2 Freshmen against East Roberson due to an ankle injury to Natalie Stewart. Worth noting that freshmen G Chandler Martin who is avg's 10 points a game is also tough and has played well. The Lady Eagles are year or two away from having a solid team that could have the potential to win the district.

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
