I think, without question, Hood belongs in the top 2 or 3. It's really not even debatable.

It doesn't help him at all that he plays at Lenoir City, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good player. Just makes you wonder. Kind of like, when Pearl was at Knox west a few years ago before going to UT. He was their only offense and he shot the ball a ridiculous amount of times a game, so he should have been able to score 25-30pts a game.

What does playing at LC have to do with his obvious talent on the court? They are a AAA school that play a very tough schedule. AND he is coached by one of the best in East Tn, Shane Wells.

B Lopez is really being under rated, by the time this season is over he will be in 5 th position ahead of L. Wilson and the others. just watch and see.

Can we say some home town favoritism to LC. Wells is a good coach for where he's at. No other LC player should be even considered a top player. They might have a couple of kids that benefit from Hood's attention he draws from other defenses, but that is it.

I would put Ryan Click from Maryville higher on the list. That kid can flat out do it all on the court.

Dylan Powers is definitely one of the better outside shooters in the area. When's he on, he can really impact a game.

Would have to say, "yes it is debatable" as to whether Tyler Hood should be 2 - 3 on that original list that was posted. Definitely he belongs on the list and he's a great player who gets better every year, but he's still a junior and there are some awfully good players on that list.

I would bump up Campbell and Craig from Bearden into that original top 15 list ... yes I'd put 5 Bearden players in there--even though Coach Blevins was "bemoaning his team" in the News Sentinel last week. Good one Coach.

Accuse me of being a homer, but I think WB junior Micah Ballard definitely deserves to be mentioned. If he can stay healthy this year, you'll hear a lot about him as he leads a very young, very small WB team.

Landon Hunley from Farragut wil make a big impact this year.

Powers is a great shooter, but that is all he does (sits and waits for the ball to come his way)!!
