If I want to send a message or e-mail to another site member how do I do so? I have some friends on the site who I know outside of the boards, but I don't have there e-mail address, it shows that you can message or e-mail, but it will not let me. Is this a plus feature?

Private messaging is a Plus member feature.

 

You can email a member provided he made his email address public when he registered. You can go to his/her profile to see if there is an email link.

Yes. Since you are a Plus member the best way would be to simply send me a PM with the new email address included.
