Thanks for the update. The sad thing about the rain is we will be wishing for it in August when things are bone dry.

No games @ SH today. Loretto and EH may try to play today @ Loretto. SH and GC are scheduled for 12:00 tomorrow @ SH but that don't look like it's going to happen either so the game may be moved to Loretto also. Loretto apparently hasn't got much rain.

Latest: The Loretto side of the bracket are going to try and play all games tomorrow (Monday) at Loretto. LHS has a full infield tarp that has been on the field since Friday. Games are scheduled to begin at 2 pm tomorrow, and go 4:30, then 7.

Games will continue to be pushed backed but must be completed by Friday or Saturday of this week since the Region begins Monday May 11. The district has two options if games get pushed back to later in the week or if the rain is here to stay. Option 1 is to go to a single elimination tournament which would knock out East Hickman, Loretto, Hickman County, and Lewis County. Spring Hill vs Giles County and Page vs Loretto then the winners play for the championship. Option 2 is if the tournament can not be played due to the weather so SH and Page advance to the Region since they finished # 1 and # 2 in the season. Either option is not really fair to any teams but what's there to do when you have rain like we have had over the past 3 days with more to come?

SH is going to try to play GC at home today but surprise surprise... Maury County got rained on over night. The forecast showed it to be clear and pretty today. So who knows...

Bad News for East Hickman, I feel so bad for these kids.... The news out our way is Our New Coach has been forced to resign, it was made public yesterday. Several parents left the Game from Loretto and headed straight to the School board meeting, The Superintendant of Schools was there but refused to talk to any concerned parents. We are dealt another blow to our program, Finally we get a real Coach, that the kids love and respect, that has earned the parents respect, things were finally looking up, and the Superintendant of our School system decides to run him away. Pray for our kids folks......they deserve better than this.
