collinwood and wayne co are pretty evenly matched Collinwood won 3 out of 4 but all games were close, overtime in 2 or3 Collinwood relies on 2 players to score all of their points ,they have not had alot of compitetion besides wayne co Play tough man and get back quick on defense and they are very beatable.shoot maybe 3or 4 outside shots a game. Wayne Co. continues to get better they play team ball and can tear you up on the 3 if you let them I woulldn't worry about C'wood you'll probably not see them

those games between c'wood and waynesboro were fierce! Comp. against Bridgeforth was good, C'wood got their butts kicked. The Collinwood Troganettes went to TNT and took the 3A Championship home on Feb 21st! Let It Snow!!! Go Troganettes!!!

Way to go lady raiders! So proud of your effort and drive till the very end. Macon has a lot to be proud of. Excellent players and fan support. Sorry for the negative impression, guess that often depends on which side of the court that you a sitting on. Many of other schools in our state would have loved to have been in the same position that these two groups of young ladies were in last night. The championship was a great competitive game that was played out in a way that a championship game should be....close till the final buzzer.

Congratulations to Cleveland. You beat a solid team in Macon Co.

I don't mind losing to good/better team, but again when fans and even some of the players are yelling out the things that was said, a person could lose respect for them. So I am comfortable with the side I sat on...

LMS girls: I am proud of you and your season. To Brooke and Lauren (our only 8th graders) we will miss you and wish you the best. To the rest, we will be back! I believe we can add to the trophy case our 10th TNT tourney championship next season.

I think it is important to keep in perspective that the game was not decided by the fans. The reference to the fans is an attempt to take away from the heart and desire of the players. As I recall, I heard fans from LMS saying things that as you say " ..person could lose respect for them." It is more "sour grapes" than anything else as it relates to the game that was played. The only real negative to the LMS - Cleveland game was the poor officiating. If you go back and review the tape, you will find that LMS benefited tremendously from this officiating. Unfortunately, this was not fair to the players and a LMS fan told me directly that the officials played a key part in this game.

As a fan, I will not sit by and watch as our team gets mistreated because of bias or incompetence of the officiating. We had players knocked out of air with no fouls called. As a matter of fact 34 fouls were called on CMS and less than 15 called on LMS. There is no way to justify the disparity in the number of fouls called when both teams were playing physical.

Ultimately, two great teams played and settled it on the court. I am sure the fans on both sides were emotionally committed to the game but no one did any better than the other in that aspect. So if we are congratulating teams, let??™s not make it a conditional congrats but one that truly says good job. The fans do not play the game. I think LMS has a great team and you can see the talent with the team.

In addition, Macon is a great team with an awesome point guard with exceptional skills. Again, I sat next to the Macon fans and we had great conversation before and after the game. Incidentally, I was beside a relative of the point guard and we cheered for our teams with high expectations. We understood there could be only one champion and we congratulated each other after the game. So before you cast a negative cloud over the Cleveland fans and players, it might be a good idea to get to know a few.

I can assure you there are no "sour grapes" here. Cleveland has good team, there is no disputing that. I sincerely congratulate them. LMS has lost a few games this season and never have we lost to team that had a few fans (notice not all CMS fans) that squalled out the things they did. And really the "mouthing" wasn't an issue until the fourth quarter when was making our only real run. I guess we should agree to disagree on the "only negative" of the game in your first paragraph.

It was an emotionally high game between two good teams. Bias/incompetent officiating?? We had players beat up pretty good too... And the foul count?? CMS pressed either full court or half court for the most of the game and your team was twice as aggressive, so you are defiantely going to get more fouls called. We only pressed in the fourth quarter. I will say that the post I think #25 only had four fouls and they had her for five. Not the refs fault...scorekeepers fault. And please, its another thread in itself, but any one outside of Cleveland that plays down there gets the shaft every time..Its worse than Memphis. So lets not hear about mistreated as you say.

Again Congratulations! You deserved it! BTW, I am not trying and it wasn't my intention to cast a cloud over all the fans and players..I gave my impression of a few.

Thanks for the backhanded congrats, but come on Daddy, get over it! We tried to be nice, but you wouldn??™t let it go. Let the girls and their families enjoy their championship and don??™t try to question their sportsmanship. CMS had more players to foul out in the Livingston semifinal game, than just about all of our other games in the season combined. What??™s wrong with this picture? Talk about frustrating??¦.You brought up the subject about getting the shaft, not the Cleveland folks so don??™t try to paint a picture that is obviously a figment of your biased imagination. We were happy to win and move on to the finals. There were no technicals, no intentional fouls, no fights, nobody escorted from the gym..??¦just hustle and teamwork. So unless you have some need take up for the guys with the whistles (who deserved a little constructive criticism in that game), why don??™t you move on? If not, here??™s a quote for you from one of my favorite philosophers of all time, Mike Ditka, ???What's the difference between a 3-week-old puppy and a sportswriter? In 6 weeks, the puppy will stop whining.???

By the way, thanks to the folks in Springfield for your excellent hospitality!

Well ,are we about to see your true colors come out... ? Hum, so you did have a problem with our team beating you. I really don't know why? Your game wasn't the championship. The CENTER wasn't your home court, so why were you upset again? We were fully aware of how you were going to act when we won, because you are very narrow minded, news flash there are basketball teams outside of upper cumberland and oh, yea Memphis, too. The championship game was played between MACON AND CLEVELAND MIDDLE .

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..

    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
