watson should be a sophmore. he didnt turn 16 until august. pfeiffer is older than he is i think

 

 

 

Excellent discussion point - is there an advantage to holding a kid back if they have a late spring or summer birthday? I have heard arguments on both sides with excellent points to support each position. It is my opinion that this effects the pitcher maturity/performance more than any other position.

Thoughts?

what are yall smokin?? in 2010 phillip phiefer will be the best pitcher in the state, along with '09 and 2011. He's a sophomore. Absolute STUD.

 

 

Just wondering...Do your Philip Pfeifer pillow cases match your Farragut bedspread? Man what a homer! When ya getting a Philip Pfeifer Fathead? Great young pitcher, but guys like you will kill him. Lighten up!!

i keep hearing a lot of things about this kid from farragut about how great he is and hes a sophmore. i know a player at siegel last name robinson and his freshman year he was a stud but ever since then he has been hurt had good games but got hurt again. it doesn't matter how good you do early in your career it matters about that senior year if you can come out and perform your best. i wish him all the luck to stay healthy him and watson from siegel

Green should dominate his district on the mound. I don't see any team beating him. He will shock alot of people this year.

 

If this green kid is so good why have i never heard of him? I've heard about watson and pfeifer. pfeifer dominated the state tournament last year and watson threw lights out this summer for the TN Sunbelt team. Who does green play with in the summer?

Green signed with ETSU. He plays with the South Eastern Roadwarriors, ranked 3rd in the nation. over 15 D1 signees came from the Roadwarriors. He will start as a freshmen more than likely.

Never heard of the Roadwarriors. Now if you said east cobb yankees or somebody of that nature i wouldnt doubt you but im still not convinced

Well maybe you have heard of some of the former coaches of the Roadwarriors..Tommy Pharr from Farragut, Mike Rivera and Derek Tharpe from Tennessee. Cooper from Farragut and Powell from Farragut and Stallings have all played for them. They are 6-2 overall against East Cobb teams. Total of 23 D1 Signees. Not to bad.

 

you said 15 D-1 signees last time??? thats odd did 8 more sign just a minute ago?

      QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
