Shortstop15
Ya its a big jump. Do you know any of the teams in Tn that would be a good one to be on for 13u? Thats not totally true. In 13u USSSA, the majority of the fields they play have 275 ft dimensions; 80 ft baselines; and pitchers pitch at a 54 ft distance. USSSA does an excellent job of transitioning players each year. We played 12u last year and the dimensions were 250 ft fences; 70 ft bases; and 50 ft from rubber to plate. I go agree it is big step jumping from Little League to Babe Ruth---from 46 ft to 60 on mound and from 60 to 90 on basepaths. There are several good 13u USSSA teams in TN. Our team won the AA West TN State Championship last year and finished runner-up in the World Series in Pensacola, FL. You can look at the the 13u teams in TN by going to www.usssa.com web site---look under baseball----and then click ratings----look under 13u in TN. Some good teams in West TN(just to name a few)..... Jackson Coyotes The Juice Memphis Tigers Tennesse Terrors Full Count Falcons ....and several more....
