A warning for Upperman fans going to Mcminn Central. When they say EARLY, you better get there EARLY! An hour before the game just won't cut it. Better get to that ticket window line and buy the ticket and then be prepared for a long wait in the other line.

SH!!!! Don't tell them. That's how we get all the best seats. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

I pictured this to be the state championship game. The winner of this game may cruise to the title.

About Mcminn Central's gym, about how many will it hold and will they stop selling tickets when they reach that number?

I think the gym hold about 1500. Not sure how many extra tickets will be sold.

It's one of the round gyms that was popular about 40 years ago to build. And it is LOUD because of the design! I don't know if they're allowed to sell more than seating capacity. The place will be packed to the rafters.

I'd suggest getting a ticket as early as possible, then dining at Memories or Michael's in Etowah if you want good food. There are also several of the fast food style chains in Etowah. Be back to get in line about an hour prior to game time.

What time does the ticket window open??

I just talked to the front office and tickets go on sell at 6 and the gates open at 6. Keep in mind that is EST. For what its worth, 10 minutes before tipoff of last years game there was plenty of seats left but with you being the visitors you are gonna be crammed into one corner of the gym so be prepared. Also, its supposed to be in the 70's Sat. so it will be HOT inside the gym. Just a friendly word of advice.

MC better bring their A game, looking at the schedules - those Bees did a good job. Good Luck to the Chargerettes.

The Roundhouse should definitely be rockin' Saturday night. I, for one, can't wait. I don't know a thing about Upperman except for what I have read. But, given what I have read, they should be respected. Central had better show up ready to play. (I'm confident they will)

To all of the Upperman fans that will be traveling to McMinn Central: drive carefully and be safe.

GO BIG BLUE!!!

I'm not sure if the time is regulated by TSSAA, like too many things are. I imagine Upperman will be selling tickets at their school, won't they?

Perhaps some of the people who post on here who work at Central or Upperman will post that information.

FYI: Upperman received fax this morning from McMinn that half of the tickets would be for Upperman

at the ticket booth at McMinn. So NO tickets at Upperman will be on sale. Wished there were advance

tickets on sale........just due to the drive. Just have to leave earlier.

Wished I had a friend there that could get me tickets. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" /> Hum?

This should be an awesome game.

GO LADY BEESSSSS!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
