As of yesterday, it doesn't look like Tullahoma's new football stadium will be ready for the home opener with Blackman. Tullahoma would travel to Blackman for their opening game. The final decision will be made by August 1st.

That's tough. Any chance Blackman will swap home openers, going to Tullahoma next year?

Any details on how practice is going at Blackman. How's the offense looking? Defense? Any particular players standing out? Also, does Blackman have a scrimmage this Friday? If so, is it at Blackman?

Blackman has two scrimmages next week:

1. Wednesday I believe at 4pm, at home, against BGA

2. Friday at 4pm at home against Gallatin

Have no idea about any specific player don't know their names yet, but I know all coaches are pleased with how three-a-days are going this week, would be happier if it wasn't raining all afternoon.

Carson didn't "pull him away" he left because the school offered him a FT job and he came out of retirement to help his kids who are struggling in this economy.... Get a clue, there is not always a "juicy" story to be told... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

We were wondering when you were going to show up on your new ID. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Now we know.

Hey priceless!! Boy I know now why I enjoyed the district 9 board SO much more!! First clue, moron, if I didn't change my name for MTCS when we left Smyrna why would I change it now??? Don't believe me? Go back and look last year at my postings they were all from my same Smyrna screen name... And no I didn't sell all my shirts they are all still hung in my closet esp. those Championship ones that I am VERY proud of.... are you proud of yours....... :roflolk:

I have 3 DECADES of state championship OAKLAND shirts. One from the 80's, one from the 90's, and now one from THIS decade. I do feel a bit guilty wearing any of them as I didn't actually EARN one and neither did YOU!

Better get ready to roll with the big boys but try a new tactic besides the name-calling. :roflolk:

Good luck to the Blaze this yr. I am interested to see how they are going to stack up against my boys at Oakland this year.

    • Well, your Big Western Hunt better turn up some Zebras to come graze on the Stones to make the jungle gametime ready again and make sure the plumber bros. still will come service the facilities at the Mecca. I hope your weekend is Fowl. Tell Rip hello from the Five Oh. Maybe the Gravedigger will catch a ride with Alphaniner on a flyover soon to BNA.
    • It’s not hearsay, just patently false. As one of those young coaches he apparently “ran off”, coach never once ridiculed or degraded anyone. Sure he challenged kids and coached them very hard,  but we have different definitions of you call that degrading. Coach Hammontree changed my life when he gave me the chance to work for him. I learned more about being a man and caring for the people around me in 4 years working for him than I did in 20 years of my life. No one sacrificed more than he did. I left Heritage because I felt there would never be the support necessary to help the program succeed. I’m tired of hearing people drag others down especially those they truly don’t know. Coach has moved on and a new coach is there. Just let the man live and root for the team.
    • Waiting on the Great One.   White Horse and Rip have a big weekend in the woods, and the Sheriff is working the overtime here.      Turkey season awaits…..Big Gobblers everywhere.
