according to TN runner, Justin Pinkston of Cordova High School has a run a 2:01.17.

 

In east TN Sam Shaughnessy from Bearden ran a 2:04.79 at the Disney Showcase which was two weeks ago.

Great 8 was missing out on most of the strongest 800m runners in middle TN, considering that the top 3 seeds scratched, and some other strong runners didn't even submit times to the meet.
