WOW! Seven guys on the all-district team! When was that announce? I haven't seen anything about the all-district team.

 

Two of Powell's seven were listed as "honorable mention", but this is still a noteworthy award.

I think the coaches voted on the all-district team at a meeting prior to the district tournament.

The official all-district team has not been published in the Knoxville News Sentinel yet, so some of the coaches may not be letting their players know until it has.

Come on Halls quit the Jekyl and Hyde act. I haven't seen a team go from one extreme to another. Win 14-0 one game then lose 14-4 the next. I'm still scratching my head. Play loose and get the hit parade going.

There have been quite a few blowouts and a couple close games. The 6 teams left are Central, Powell, Halls, Karns, Oak Ridge and Clinton. Central and Powell play for a chance to go to the championship game

Showers look pretty spotty today, so hopefully all 3 games will be played today. Tomorrow could be a wash though.

Got all 3 in yesterday. Not sure about the Halls win over Oak Ridge but Powell beat Central 6-3 in the winners bracket final and Clinton beat Kanrs 9-2. If we can get it in Halls and Clinton play at 2:30 and Central plays the winner
