But we gotta get past White House before we can even think about the state tournament.

I wasn't trying to put the jinx on you. But I had a chance to see your team this year and I was really impressed, particularly with some of your younger players who have stepped up and played well with their older teammates.

Good luck tomorrow night.

I hate to see it, but I think BigG is bringing home another title. BigG not saying that because I have anything against you, im just one of those guys who likes to see the trophies spread around. You have definitely earned it though, dont get me wrong. Your team works their butt off every game and I hope to see that tradition continue at CAK. CAK for the A/AA State Championship game.

I think Alcoa got a pretty tough draw with CCS ( assuming they win). Then to have to play USJ or Hume fogg will be another tough one.

Cak should be in the finals again. The semi-final with them facing Station camp or CPA should ba a good one though.

I still think CAK is bringing the weakest team they have had to state in a while so Station Camp or CPA could give them problems. (Bulletin board material for you G)

Cak in finals against the winner in the bottom. The bottom winner will be tired in the finals. Bottom alot tougher than the top for sure. I am going with my gut who says Alcoa.

CAK and CCS are my two picks for the championship. It should be a great matchup if they both make it to the finals.

Dont get me wrong whitehouse is a solid team, however, I dont think they can hang with the perennial powerhouses like ccs and cak.

cak beats farragut, bearden, hendersonville, houston, and catholic and other good opponents, yet they are the weakest cak team ever to go to state huh?

Figured you would no offense meant toward you or your program BigG.

Sausy, I just feel this is a down year for soccer in our area. Don't get me wrong there is alot of talent out there it is just real young at some of the bigger schools you spoke of and some are just lacking leadership and a desire to play hard for 80 minutes every night. CAK is still a quality program and well coached. I just think in the last 6 years there have been more talented teams come out of there. Now with that said... I cannot speak of this teams work ethic or cohesiveness as a unit. I know they don't have a superstar to take over the game like they have had in the past (Tarr). We saw what talent like that can do the other night against Carter or even the State Championship game against Hume Fogg 2 years ago (or that whole state tournament). Right BigG?

I was just making an observation of what I believe to be true.

    • Shopping? His family is loaded and he's 6'6 I'm pretty sure he could start anywhere in upper East TN,So no need to shop. Word is Witten got caught trying to work him out on campus and some 7 on 7 while playing athletics for Sullivan East. Word got around pretty quick and Someone turned them into TSSAA.
    • Quick update on Jacob -  Jacob celebrated his 16th birthday at Vanderbilt on Tuesday and has been in decent spirits.  His sense of humor has begun to show as he was visited by many friends.  He is swallowing a lot better now and has eaten some of his favorites (Chik-Fil-A and Five Guys).   He is getting prepared to head to Atlanta to the Shepherd Center first thing tomorrow morning.  His family has been waiting on insurance approval. In case you dont know the Shepherd Center it a world class facility and supposedly one of the best in the country for spinal injury rehab.  Praying for perfect results there. Considering the circumstances, Jacob is in decent spirits.  He has some reflexive movement in his legs which I think is probably a very positive sign.  Don't read too much into that just yet as there is no telling what the real prognosis is... just hopeful that is good thing.  I am really just happy that it seems like he has a punchers chance of getting something back.  He is a strong young man and very determined so I think he will fight as hard as he can in physical therapy while down in Atlanta. More than one of you has asked me about an address to send donations.  I know GoFundMe isn't for everyone.  If you want to go that route, you can make a check to "Blackman Wrestling Club" and we will pass anything received directly to the Kinderdines.   Jacob Kinderdine c/o Blackman Wrestling 4836 Trevino Court Murfreesboro, TN  37128 Also, want to thank everyone who has donated so far.  Jacobs dad will take a month off work and stay in Atlanta with him.  They need to learn how to take care of him and do home therapy work..... and surely Jacob will be glad his dad can be there.  All that could not happen without you all.  Depending on what happens, they will probably end up doing some home remodeling in order to accommodate Jacob at their home.  Thanks again. Here's a pic I lifted from Facebook of Jacob on Oxy talking to his Uncle.  LOL
