Shortly. Coach has to talk to his current team and honor some previous commitments. We need to respect that. I expect an announcement will be forthcoming next week sometime.

Seifert Out As Director Of Schools

 

Now there is the best headline Cheatham County Schools and Athletics have seen in a long time...in the past 5 years Ms. Seifert has run off numerous many successful head and assistant coaches in numerous sports through the county and many adminstrators throught the county. Yes. He signed the papers at the board this week and he's on vacation during the dead period. I asked him if I could post the news on coacht and he told me that he would let me know when that was appropriate. When the dead period is over, coach will hit the ground running and will have tryouts the week before the next dead period. July 20th-24th.

Ok, it's been announced by other outlets, so I'm comfortable putting it on here. Donny Jones previously the assistant baseball coach at Station Camp and Portland High is the new head baseball coach at Harpeth.

I don't know about x's and o's, but I think his teams will be disciplined and hard working.

 

I need to make a correction here about tryouts. They will be July 20th through 23rd rather than the 24th. Tentatively, the times will be from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M.
