Agree with Watson - verbal commit to UT and what he has done in the Sunbelt - that says enough. For Richmond - every time I saw him pitch he got lit up. I guess there is no where but up for him to go! Tough kid, though. I hope he does better this year. Throws hard, I thought he would have done better last season. Siegel has some up comming pitchers that could make a big impact on their season. The Pack Man, Simms (#2 last year?), and a Junior lefty - Taylor? should be in the mix. Good luck Stars!

Here are few players from Mid Tenn to watch this year and next in my opinion. I'm sure I'm leaving some players off the list. I'm not saying all players on the list will go on to play at the next level but several will. All are very good ball players.

Sr - Zack White - 1B/3B/RHP - Lawrence County

Sr - Tyler Bigler - SS/RHP - Spring Hill

Sr - Kyle Brochu - CF/RHP - Spring Hill

Sr - Zack Walton - RHP - Spring Hill

Jr - Austin Schubert - 3B/RHP - Spring Hill

Jr - Jeffrey Scarritt - MIF/RHP - Spring Hill

Sr - Kendall Keeton - SS - Columbia Central

Sr - Matthew Spann - LHP - Columbia Central

Sr - Derrick Armstrong - CF - Columbia Centra

Jr - David Horne - RHP/1B/3B - Columbia Central

Jr - Brandon Brooks - C/RHP - Columbia Central

Sr - Daniel Holcomb - 2B/RHP - Mt. Pleasant

Sr - Devan Nance - C/3B/RHP - Mt. Pleasant

Soph - Garrent Ring - RHP - Mt. Pleasant

Sr - KJ Roberts - CF - Summertown

Jr - Alex Huddleston - C - Summertown

J.C. had variable performances in summer ball, but he did pitch a gem against the Southeast Pirates: 7 innings with 1 run allowed. He had his stuff on that day. I hope he does well in the spring.
