It was a fumble fest....for Tellico. Tellico Lost 4 fumbles. Rockwood had almost a perfect night. A direct quote from coach Webb "Our team has not played anyone so physical like Tellico. Both their Defensive and Offensive Lines DOMINATED the game." At halftime, it was 7-0 Tellico. Rockwood did not score until around one minute left in the game. Rockwood had only had around 50 total yards of offense at half time. No excuses can be made for Rockwood. They were beaten soundly by Tellico. So much for #8 in the state.

It's obvious you wasn't there..........Rockwoods almost perfect night consisted of 4 turn overs of our own.....2 were key......with about 1 min.to go in the first half,Rockwood fumbles away the snap on second and goal on the 2 or 3 yardline were the game could have been tied at the half....the kick off to start the second half rolled through our deep backs feet and pinned us deep.....on 3rd down we threw an int. that set up Tellico's second TD......so before you go spouting your mouth off about beaten soundly and so much for #8 you should first get a clue

To the Tellico fans......congrats on the big win.....that's a fine looking football team you have......I posted earlier the saying stop O'Dell and stopping O'Dell waqs 2 different things.....Rockwood didn't do a very good job of stopping O'Dell....the kid is the real deal....and the fullback Sloan was impressive also and ya'll did control the line most all night.......and good food.....i went back for a 2nd plate

    • I think the OC is a guy the he brought from Fulton with him. I am not sure though. I have heard a lot of conflicting information. It seems like a couple of coaches that he hired have since been let go.

    • If someone needed their grades pumped up surley it would have to be for someone needing it to get to another level. If your intending on going to work right after high school it wouldn't matter. Why would someone in their right mind think if they screwed it up in high school that their ready for college. It has to be for an athlete to get them over the fence to get in and from that point the school their going to will cheat them through the rest of the way for their athletic skills just like the rest.
    • The new school will be on that road behind Home Depot next to a church. I'm wondering if this could take from Greenback or could it be the end of Greenback, they only have 200 students.
    • Yeah it will take the county kids in that area that were going to lenior city. They will move down to 4a I think
