rollredroll...Keep up tha good werk....Look at yore site quite often.... :thumb:

Thanks. There is so much more info I have to upload but am short on time and manpower. But, this has been a good year of adding older scores - probably more noticeable for Middle Tennessee schools, but I am slowly starting to dig deeper into East Tennessee, and West Tennessee on a smaller scale. The goal is to have at least all playoff era scores (1969-Present) by this time next year, for all current and old/defunct schools across the state.

Also, to my Trousdale County friends above, I haven't forgotten your e-mails; I just need some more time to sort things out and cross-reference some older newspapers to fill in those missing gaps in the older TCHS schedules.

I have all the Dobyns-Bennett scores from 1921 to 1979 I've been promising to put into electronic format and send to the high school database. I'll get that completed.

Any time those D-B scores are ready, let me know. They will be a great addition to the site.

On the list, yes, the guy in Texas is keeping records for all 50 states and does a great job of keeping tabs on it. He sends me e-mails every December to get the TN results, so I always want to make sure they are as accurate as possible. A few dents have been made on schools on the list in the past year, thanks in large part to fan help, particualry with Baylor, Christian Brothers, Union City, and Trousdale County (which was not on that 2008 list due to lack of records but is on the Texas guy's lists now). And I should have all of Memphis Central and Germantown loaded before 2010 is over, as one of the long-time Memphis journalists is sending me many Memphis school histories bit by bit (ECS being the latest addition).

At that point, only Knox. Central, Alcoa, and Tennessee High would be the big gaps to be filled.

Speaking of all time wins, it looks as if Ken Netherland(St. Georges) will pass Carlton Flatt(Brentwood Academy) in coaching wins at some point this season. Last weeks win gives coach Netherland 350 victories, coach Flatt has the Tennessee record with 354.
