Well it looks like it's about time to put up or shut up. Let's see if y'all can play as well as you can sling the b.s. I wish ALL the kids playing tonight a safe game, a safe trip to our Alcoa guests and most of all a victory for the hardest working team in the state of Tennessee, the ELIZABETHTON CYCLONES! GO BETSY GO!

Well I guess we proved that we can back up any talk that we put on here. Our boys came up there and gave you all a dose of medicine and made you like it I.E the running game. Only one trick play tonight the rest just plain ole smash mouth football that you all couldn't do a thing about. All the hype and confidence on here from you and your fellow cyclones just got shut down. Your alls coach seemed to be a little cocky as well. I also bet our players saw that youtube video of you all jumping up and down at midfield towards ae and that gave them a little more motivation to shut your team up. Congrats to the Tornadoes for another dominating performance and congrats to betsy too but maybe a little more humility until you all accomplish something.

I gotta say, I'm a bit disappointed that Betsy didn't live up to the hype that the posters on here were giving them. Also, disappointed that many people on the other side left in the 3rd quarter.

Good crowd, but doesn't beat the Maryville-Alcoa game, for sure.

Congrats to Betsy for getting this far. Guess we can now add you to the list of believers.

Congratulations to my Tornadoes and to JaRon for breaking not 1, but 2 records tonight!

Congrats to the Tornado Nation. Glad you represented yourself and district 4 so well. When someone in 3A finally beats you I want it to be CAK or Loudon, (a keepin it inside the family/district 4 kinda thing). Hopefully I will be able to head to Cookieville next Saturday and watch you win another gold ball.

Congrats to Betsy for a good season. You've got a good coach, some good players and a great game atmosphere. However; I really think the whole taunting thing is a little much for a high school team and it is not putting a very positive spin on your program. You can have some "swagger" without that. Tonight you got just a little taste of what some of us have had to deal with for a while. So, take your medicine, dust it off and get ready for basketball.

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
