Anyone know if the Neff photography from the pictures link that was posted referencing the spladdle contreversy is from one of the family members of Ex Overton Wrestler Daniel Neff and i believe his father used to Ref or may still Ref. Daniel is an old team mate of mine and i'm just curious. Thanks in advance.

Yes that is the same family. I believe his father is the photographer but I also think he is no longer officiating.

Yeah I gotta say the evidence doesn't look good for Little. Thanks for posting the photos. However, the positioning may or may not have changed in the moments following. In any case, all of this is going to seem pretty trivial in about two days when the real battle begins. There's plenty of revenge to be taken and it's ultimately between the wrestlers, not us fans/coaches/parents. With regard to the water bottle incident, yes I was right there and it missed me by a few inches but I've got no bad blood. The way I see it the offending wrestler paid his dues and the issue is a dead horse now.

Not gonna lie, I enjoy the drama that goes on on this website and sometimes I play into it, but when things get hostile I say leave it on the mat for our wrestlers to handle. Time for State, baby!

    • They stopped looking at Winfree after the coach destroyed Winfree's reputation and shared things with coaches.
    • Congratulations to Coach Runyon. He seemed to do a good job when I watched his teams play. He didn't coach like he was ready to retire. With that being said... both coaching positions in the same district open... which one of these jobs is the best job and why?  also, it is a coincidence that they both leave at the same time...

    • good points. I guess the question is do the coaches need to be out of the classroom and get paid for just coaching. maybe move the coaching jobs to just coaching and no teaching. that would open up the coaching ranks to some good coaches that are not qualified to teach. Then you could do contracts and pay them whatever you want to pay them. move the positions to contracts.  Just like college. Thoughts?
    • It's not just DB, I don't think any of the NET big schools will ever be relevant in football.      Meaning in the playoffs.....
