coachmasters
I am interested in entering my JV and Freshmen in a lot of tournaments this year. If you know of anything that they could enter please post. The tournaments must be non-varsity tournaments. Thanks.
Guest taketopwin
Hartselle High School is less than 2 hours south of Nashville. They host two tournaments on January 18th. One is for 7th-8th and the other is 9th -12th. This is a tournament for freshman and other high school kids who are not on their schools varsity. You can bring as many as you want in each weight class. contact Keith Corder at keitcord@hcs.k12.al.us or 256-773-5426 ext 112.

Thanks. if yall are planning on going to the Soddy Again this year, they had (until it got too late and the timing got off) maybe the best JV tourney I've ever seen the Fri. Afternoon before. Baylor, McCallie, Bradley, Cleveland....list goes on. Brentwood also does a pretty good one along with their Varsity tourney.
XWRISTSD
Soddy Daisy will once again have their Tournament the Friday before the Varsity Tournament. The Tournament will be run on 4 mats this year at the High School and not at the Wrestling Arena. This will enable us to be able to move more quickly and get out at a decent hour. The Tournament will be over at 11:30. This is for safety and consideration of parents and fans, as well as our sport. Our Region voted last year not to have any Tournaments last any later than 11:30 after the Ooltewah Tournament lasted so late. We also have "Little Sisters" that work our tables as well as score, and we are not confortable sending these Teenagers home in the early hours of the morning. There is also a Law in Hamilton County in regards to how late Teens may be out after dark.
