New to board, but seems that Knoxville Panthers are no more than a clown show. You guys are just making names up for a roster. You say a guy is on the team and then it likes oops he doesn't play with us anymore. Clown shows like this organization give the legit teams a bad name. I shaw you guys play last year in Orlando and you guys had no business being there. Before you drop pot shots at other organizations, you better fix up your own house.

 

Best of luck to you this summer season. I hope you guys when the goober league championship.

I " SHAW" The field for the goober league tournament I Wasn't Impressed. The Panthers Could Beat them all easily by 30.... ( Team Hustle ) I also Know that none of the names are made up for some sort of, what did u call it, "Clown Show". If this is a Clown show The Panthers are Bozo in the middle of a three ring circus This team is good Id watch out they are lookin to win state and very well could do it

Hey JohnMajors, I just spoke with your high school English teacher and she said you trying to put coherent words and sentences on paper was the "real" clown show! I can also assure you that none of the names on the website were made up!

i have been to every tn travelers game this year and i am here to tell you first hand info not gossip.

to begin with nike pays no money to any player on any of their sponsored teams. believe me the ncaa watches this closely. next there are only 11 players on the 17u roster. only 10 of these are playing right now, craig bradshaw was called up from the 16u team to make it a ten man roster because kurt brooks is rehabing from knee surgery. the travelers play against the best competition available every game and all ten players are getting about equal playing time. i am actually quite impressed at how well they actually work together considering they are talent laden. so before you trash the travelers follow them and actually watch them play. i recruit and i see all the good teams the travs are right there with them

      When Danny was a senior he was the quarterback on the 82 team and also the placeholder on extra points. At the end of the game Heritage scored a touchdown with very little time left and went ahead 9-0. On the following extra point Danny rose up and threw a perfect pass to one of his receivers which made it 11-0 and Heritage's first win against Maryville since the series started in 77. Maryville fans were highly ticked off because they felt like it was rubbing salt in the wound. The following year when both teams met again at Maryville  the Rebels ran away with the game and after the first couple of touchdowns they went for two points after each score for a pay back and the score was 45-0 at halftime. The following Monday Bob Gilbert the sports eiditor for the local paper bashed Maryville in an article called the Humilation of Teenagers and tore into Maryville even though he was a graduate of the school. Those were the good ole days when Heritage had decent teams and the rivalry between them and Maryville was a fun event to see.

      I get all that.  And I agree too.  However, if the coach is only there to coach that would give them more time to do those things. The school system and booster clubs combine and pay them.
