BGA opening....

BGA has less than half the number of guys that every other school in the divison. Knowing that you should realize that they are always going to have a hard time competing and should be moved to the lower divison just because of the numbers. And whoever is saying they are worse than USN is crazy because BGA and USN play each other every year expect for this year and USN has not won that matchup in a very long time. BGA will be better in the future, they have a decent freshman class, but should still be in the lower division.

 

BGA does suck, I said it.

I have always admired the assistant coach at Brentwood Academy - Brandon something. Good man who believes in teaching the game the right way. takes every loss like someone shot his dog. His first name is Brandon but I'm not positive about his last name.

What's the latest on this position? Are there any names that are surfacing as far as who has applied? When will they begin interviewing or name someone? Any info would be helpful.

Any truth to the rumor that BGA may want to look at Jay Johnson from Franklin? I know he's been winning district 11AAA a bunch and has been to some substates, and the schools are pretty close to one another!

BGA hired from within....Their former girls coach. Not looking to spend any extra $$ I guess. What is BGA thinking first releasing Coach Smith, then hiring someone within the school? JMO, but they probably should have looked "outside the box".....I am not questioning the new coach, but is this hire going to make a difference, seriously?

Great hire for BGA. Coach Mcknatt record and integrity speaks for itself. We will be vastly improved. Come out and watch an exciting brand of basketball. Sometimes looking within is the best place before looking out. I respect all opinions but McKnatt will get the job done.

What job done? Competing against MBA and Ensworth he will never get the job done.

I believe BGA's talent was significantly better that their record last year.

 

With that said, they couldn't beat MBA or Ensworth next year if they had hired John Wooden.
