Kasey Woodlee resigned as girls head basketball coach.

Shaq has done a great job with this once terrible program. He will be missed greatly. Good luck as he gets more time with his family now.

 

Shaq is one in a million. I have only known him a short while but have the upmost respect for him. He treated our team very well. Ya'll need to get him to change his mind and stay. Good luck and best wishes Shaun.

My daughter plays in the valley, but she was talking to some friends of her's on the mountain, and they were talking about some new teacher. anyone know anything? Or a teacher already there?

I believe my daughter said that teacher that her friends were wanting to coach was teaching building trades or something. Who is he?

I overheard someone talking today, that Mr. Smith might be the name being mentioned. He is from Whitwell I think, but is a very sports minded person. He use to coach some baseball I think. I don't know if he would take the job, but best of luck to who does. Anyone know anything?

Baseball is NOT softball... Hire someone who knows the game.

I agree, the two are different. Lots different. Shaq was a baseball umpire before he became Grundy County Softball Coach, Right? He was real successful. He will never get the credit he truly deserves. But yes I agree baseball and softball are different. What about Shaq's assistant coach? Is she being considered?
