Does anyone else find it a little insulting...a little ironic.. that they dare to have pay-per-view games???...

Are you talking about just Tennessee games or CFB all together??

I think for some teams its fine but for a team like Tennessee when the pay per view a lot of times don't even air out of state why can't a local station in Knoxville do the broadcast and simalcast it over the state through out the state what Station in Chatt, Nash. etc.. wouldn't want to broadcast a Tennessee game and I am sure plenty of local sponsors could fill commercial breaks. I have seen Vanderbilt games done by Rudy Kalis on Channel 4 in Nashville and I think they have also done a couple MTSU games.

I don't think it's fine for any state-supported school... the gate at a UT game has got to be huge...and if they can afford to pay little teams to come in and take a loss at the beginning of the season...they can do without the pay-per-view...

Speaking for one of those "little teams," I can say that the 20-40% of PPV revenue that goes to the opponent is kinda nice considering that the average UTK PPV broadcast brings in a cool half-million dollars.

So for 200,000...MTSU will be UT'S whipping-boy???...Heck...they've been doing that for Tech for free for years...How ya been, iamoz??
