District 9AA AND 10AA

Interesting stat for those who care about stats, according to the Tennessean.com: WH beat Sycamore by 7 and by 4 last year. Pointdexter had 35 and 29 in both games. In both games, only one other WH player scored in double digits. It is gonna be hard to replace that type of player.

And for the arguement about "defending champs", I quote Mr. Kobe Bryant, "As Phil likes to say, We are not the defending champs-nobody can take last years championship away from us. This is a new year and we have to be deserving of a championship this year". Defending champs is talk for announcers and is fun but it isn't real life.

Poindexter will replaced. This is going to be a huge matchup once january rolls around. I wouldnt be suprised to see this matchup have its own post soon. Scyamore goes to white house first this year, I dont see them coming down there and pulling a win out

Gentry will be back the first of January and no- the pg did not tear his acl. Saw him play in the cpa league on saturday and he looked fine to me. It is going to be a great season, no doubt. WH will be very good and with their length and 1-3-1 zone they probably are the favorite in District 9, like the saying goes "to be the man, you got to beat the man!"

CPA and Maplewood are leaders of District 10, but I would say that a "darkhorse" in that district is East Literature, at least according to an assistant coaching friend who's son plays in that district.

i am not a white house fan i just have watched them play over the summer and i know that noone in this district can beat them and i believe they'll atleast finish second in the region behind cpa. i dont see how you think scyamore can beat white house if gengtry is out for 3 months and didnt the point gaurd tear his acl? im not sure but thats what i heard. i would'nt sweat over it even if they are both 100 percent

I didnt say anything about Sycamore beating White House. You said it wouldnt be close and I am saying it will be. If you look back on this thread, some people where saying Sycamore was going to walk through the district and I said WH would have something to say about it. No, Froedden is fine. CPA's pg tore his acl, not Sycamore's

Wow! excuse after excuse. White House got beat!!!! CPA played their 3rd game too, I don't hear any excuses from them :x And yes, i did say summer doesn't count. but you know what. i changed my mind is that ok?????? If I do recall John Jenkins outscored WH house by himself 2 out of the 3 times they played (when Jenkins was a sr.). Bradshaw is just as good as Jenkins was, and you're right about the dunks... Bradshaw will only have 9 and Lindsey will add about 5 or 6 more. WH couldn't hold CPA's jockstrap much less hang with them

You think Bradshaw is better than Jenkins??? You have lost your mind! Jenkins led the NATION in scoring. Bradshaw is good, but he does not have the jumpshot or the athletic ability that Jenkins possesed. Also every SEC school is not all over Bradshaw like Jenkins!

Can you read?? I'm pretty sure I never said Bradshaw was better than Jenkins... and besides Bradshaw is only a jr, he's got two more years left

CPA beat WH by like 20 this summer. sounds like you don't know what you're talking about. Jalen Lindsey and Bradshaw will have 10 dunks each if CPA meets up with WH in the region. CPA and Maplewood are the teams to beat in this region. GO LIONS!!! :thumb:

I was at that game, white house had their best defensive player out, and one of their best players didnt play much because his wrist was bothering him. AND coach pulled their starters in the third when white house was down by 3. so add all of that up and it will come to a good game. Bradshaw can play but one man cant beat a team. Lindsey is nothingwhite house cant stop

craig will never be as good as jenkins. Jenkins led the state in scoring his junior year and the nation his senior. He hit more threes than other freshman in VU history. Craig is a very good player but John was in a different class. Im not hating I wish the best to craig and hope he proves me wrong :thumb:

    • Yea I agree I will say tho I was a big “ v “ fan if an  opening ever did happen I think it would’ve been good to see him have a shot coming from a power house like Oakland. I’m sure he’s learned a lot from Kevin.  I bet he would bring a really good offense scheme IMO But after all this I just dunno anymore.  Whatever happens with the rumors an such if it did come to and opening I think this messes it all up.  The board members dreams are slowly slipping away now. I haven’t lived there for awhile I just hear what I hear, but my question is would there be any good potential candidates?? That’s why I don’t understand why people want b s out so bad who else could do any better ?? IMO there’s nothing attractive about it? As I stated earlier I went to the last game last year and taking a leak in a porta Potty is pretty sad and still nothing being done they say ..
    • I have a sophomore that can do 177 (preferred) or 192. Sent you an email.
    • speaking of board members how can a man get arrested 12 days ago and still be head coaching a team in TC school system? looks like your right about the tc board members. I bet it would be different if they had a kid on the team
