Davidson1
I am with the earlier posts, who cares!!! The all DA team will be out at 3:00, what type of person puts out a lists like this!! Proably a parent of a former player on the list or somebody who is really bored. Is there a Lipscomb Hall of Fame I can come to and show my boy some weekend! WesVLT
Davidson1, I see nothing wrong with a little football nostalgia. One of the most enjoyable things to discuss on this message board is the great teams and players of the past. It's fun to talk about. If you don't want to talk football, then don't sign on to coacht.com.
salty
My vote for the all-Lipscomb team goes to Eugene "Big Daddy" Lipscomb. Man, what a man! My apologies if this was supposed to be an all-Caucasian team only.
Davidson1
Sorry I offened you WesVol, it just seems like a weird person to me, but hey, like you said, it is a football board!!
Indian
I would not mind reading all-time teams for any program. Something that could make future such posts better would be to include graduation years of each player, height and weight if available or estimates for long ago players, honors such as all-state or Mr. football, where the team finished that year, state champ or whatever, and maybe where the player played in college or even pros and where the player was offered if he didn't play in college for one reason or another. Was there a pretty good running back at Lipscomb named Paul Glenn or am I mixing up my Nashville private schools?
Guest Frater
Salty, Obviously not in the sense of "salt of the world". Your reference to the all Caucasian team and then through in an "apology" makes you look so...small? Who cares? why bother writing? I would love to hear from other schools their all-time teams.
