High School kids from TN....usually about 5'10 to 6'2...usually kinda bigger kids......ah, let's see. Lot of Football players in that one.....

Goodman(mba) placed 2nd in div II last year and should easily be the favorite for div II this year, i am not sure about div I.

That all depends on whether Marable (CBHS) goes 189 or 171?

yes chovanec(cbhs) is gone. that means all the 189's in dII wont have to worry about getting cross faced 14 times a match so good luck this season and enjoy not getting hit in the face.

true it will depend. marable will probably go 189. black luttrell is at 171 and beat marable in freestyle. although marable will be a heavy contender for 189, goodman will more than likely come out on top with marable coming in 2nd.

true, i was there though and the only reason marable was in a position to win was because goodman, up until that day, had never wrestled freesyle, nor had he wrestled since the state tournament. just wait till the season and see who will win when and if they wrestle.

one quick history lession on the 189lb class. last year at father ryan there was a quad. between ryan ba mba and cbhs. the cbhs 189 was ben chovanec he beat blake goodman very easily it wasnt close. marable is a lot better than goodman. if marable goes 89 goodman should bump up to 215 or he wont win state.

i would like to add that I go to MBA and I am a big wrestling fan. I support our team and although I don't know too much about the sport, I like it and enjoy reading the posts about this year's competition. roll red roll.
