oh im sure all the east tennessee allstars have maryville addresses by now lol, this is the biggest joke in years. no community has that much talent, ask Oak Ridge when the plants run out of work they were finished. the same will hold true in that area very soon. It still the knox,blount, loudon co allstars. If the talent level was that good Hertiage and William blount couldnt be beat either. mmmmm wonder why thet are awful? lol

Yes I envy Maryville. Yes I hate Maryville. Who wouldn't given what they've accomplished. I would love to see someone crush them. The reason is because they are where every other team wants to be. That's the reason high school football is better than college, or the NFL. Maryville has set a standard that everyone wants to achieve. I've never seen a Maryville team not come out and compete. Never had to wonder whether their frame of mind was right. I always hope to read in the paper every off-season that Quarles has accepted a job somewhere else. When you have something that far out of the norm, like Maryville does, it's human nature to fear and hate what you don't understand.

 

If you can't figure out who I pull for you don't follow high school football very well.

Maryville has not went out this year and beat everyone on talent alone. Talent wise, they are not that far above everyone that they play. What Maryville consistently has is a bunch that is highly committed and dedicated and they out work their opponents. They have a "team above self" attitude and are the best coached club in the state. Their coaching staff is the best, by far, of any other staff around. Oh, by the way, I am not a Maryville fan, just calling it like I see it.
