Thanks! But no luck needed! :thumb: Hope to see you next Friday (i'll be the one in maroon holding the banner which reads- "WE RUN THIS SHIP!" LOL)! FYI, none of my posts have been childish. They have been direct questions and answers to your posts. You gonna compare stats, do your homework, then, think about your responses before you post. Then, maybe, just maybe, my responses won't seem so childish. As you put it, right???? :thumb:

Almost forgot. Fixed :thumb:

#1 smart guy I never use stats in any post nor do I talk stats for many reasons like I have a job and family and dont care about stats. And I didnt figure you would think there childish most kids dont think anything they do is childish. But if we play next week Ill be sure to look for your sign and be sure to introduce myself to you! :thumb: And by no means did I say you are the best in all of TN. Once again your patting your own back

To the guy that was talking about GP sending the house at Hardin..don't hold your breath. Greeneville said the same thing and nothing happened to her.

Anyway I don't feel like doing an in depth post on both teams(My laziness lol)

EHS: 28

GP: 20

EHS is known for blocking EPs/FGs so I expect them to block one this game

If GP sends the house on a field goal attempt, and accidentally take her out, will the stands clear, or will it just be 1st and 10 betsy lets play ball.

She plays middle forward on the soccer team and outscored all players on the team, top 10 in the state in cross country, point guard on the basketball team, track and softball star, 4.0 in the classroom and would easily be selected homecoming queen, she is liable to take out one of the GP players.

This kid is a real player! Seemed like there were three or four of him on the field at all times.

The Durbin kid has the one thing you can't teach kids, a great knack for being around the ball. What impressed me was how patient he was running the ball. He waited for his blocks, made cuts to help his blockers out.

I could be wrong, but the G-P vs Betsy game has the makings of a classic. Should be one of the best games in any bracket in the state. Of course, now that I've said that, one team will now blow out the other.

Prediction time. The regular season schedules tell the story for this one:

Record of Opponents Defeated

GP - 30-62; 2 wins against teams with winning records (both in the playoffs).

EHS - 35-51; 4 wins against teams with winning records (2 in season, 2 in playoffs).

Record of Opponents in Losses

GP - 25-11

EHS - 36-9 (EHS has one more loss; even with the extra game, the opponents still have two fewer losses than GP opponents).

Prediction: EHS wins 24-7

As Burt Reynold's old college roommate would say, Not so fast my friend.

Against five common opponents, GP posted a higher score against four of them. The other game, AE, both teams scored the same number of offensive points. They also gave up fewer points to three of the five teams. In the other two games, AE scored one more point while Erwin scored one more TD against the jayvee during garbage time.

With all that said, I think these two teams are extremely evenly matched. I'll be shocked if either team wins by 17 point margin. As a result, I'm going to give the edge to the home team that doesn't have a two hour bus ride.

GP - 20

Elizabethton - 14

No offense to these two programs, but I don't base much of anything off of Sullivan East and Unicoi County right now. And, while GP did score more against North and HV, they also gave up a great deal more. I believe the EHS defense is the difference in the game. The extra stops they get that North and HV couldn't will result in a few more points for the EHS offense.

    • Yep..could possibly have 3 teams ranked in top ten in the same four team district.
    • He had an opportunity to be the OC at TC without final say in the offensive gameplan. How does that work? Smh. Head Coaches are public figures regardless of the community size, and yes there are some out there, it’s irrelevant and not fair to them to name them on here. Also why is said “head coach” the head coach of the MS baseball program to begin with? Oh because no one wants it. As for the Lebanon question, I know what I’ve been told so just going off here say, some of the boosters were not happy with his roster decisions and wanted him out. Although he lead them to 20+ wins in multiple seasons
    • A head coach in the school system? No I dont think so. Head coaches are public figures in small communities. Not trying to slander, but this is an actual question. Do you know why he was forced to resign at Lebanon? This was his second chance.  He already left trousdale once and had an opportunity to come back a couple of years ago but spoiled that.
    • Are you perfect? Nope no one is, at the end of the day there are several teachers/coaches and even some in the Trousdale County school system that have DUI’s on their record. You’re correct on it being a bad mistake and it unfortunately could have ended horribly. While you consider the consequences minimal, I can assure you they are not. Ultimately I hope and have faith that he will learn from it and use it to better himself.
