Bulldog football has come to a close. Seniors will be on the hardwood soon.

If this bunch comes together as a TEAM, they should be hard to beat.

What say you?

I know you guys will be hard to handle again this year , how does Cloudland , Unaka . and UH look? As usual us(Cosby) and Hancock will be the only 2 in our district that will be able to compete with you guys come regionals.

Team in 1A to look out for this year is Jellico...watch them make a deep run into the state tourny.

I was sorry to see You guys lose the Football game last night I was really pullin for Hampton to take out the big bad private school.

If we don't experience the injuries to key starters as we have the last two years we will be fine at the end. This team learned last year that it takes a TEAM to win anything that matters. One or two will never win the big games themselves without a healthy team behind them and/or team attitude No matter what the paper says! King, I have learned that the Star paper is, well, pitiful!

If Unaka is disciplined they could be good.

Cloudland does have Carpenter and kids with talent AND a team heart. They should be good also.

Agreed! I said the same thing last year. When they did play as a team, they dominated. When they didn't, they barely won or lost.

Hope they learned from last year's regular season....trust one another and play as a team.

It can never be about 'I'...Forget what the "Star" writes up! Forget personal goals and play ball!

Without the rebounding, the hustle, and floor control, it will be a DISAPPOINTING year.

Should be a great season....for it will be a while before they have a senior class this talented!

Me either. The Dogs are loaded. The only thing that can stop them is themselves. If this team comes together, plays together, and sells out for the team, they could go deep in the tournament.

I like your "sells out for the TEAM", comment.

Its was used in football this year and proved well for that team.

This basketball team is alot more structured than the football team was. I mean, every position is talented unlike the football team...they had to make talent at some positions

    • See that’s where you’re wrong my friend. If I was West, I would have made sure y’all stopped talking all that nonsense about my family months ago. You’d be scared to see my face or hear my name. You’ve got the wrong man. My kids still go to trousdale county schools and plan on staying. Lets be the Mr. Police you’re supposed to be and stop causing more problems than there already is.

    • Congratulations to Coach Runyon. He seemed to do a good job when I watched his teams play. He didn't coach like he was ready to retire. With that being said... both coaching positions in the same district open... which one of these jobs is the best job and why?  also, it is a coincidence that they both leave at the same time...
