Well its been just a blink of an eye since these two heavy weights lit up the score board and the Blount Co. skyline like a boomsday celebration on the Tennessee River. It'll be hard for this game to live up to the same specatular standard of that one, but this one is win or go home. The Warriors from CAK will land their gunship on Goddard Field but it will be more like a crash landing than a soft one. The high flying, acrobatic boys in blue will be minus one of their best receivers and others are feeling the effects of 5 straight physical games (Kingston,Elizabethton,Alcoa,Kingston,Polk Co.). And its difficult, even with a seasoned pilot, to fly straight into the headwind of a Tornado. Alcoa is dug in deep and holds the advantage for this battle. They are salty and battled tested and should not be surprised by anything the Warriors throw at them.

Alcoa has gotten way too cocky and dont i dont mean to offend any1 but they dont eserve to win State cause they recruit "suggest" their players. that doesnt really giv any other 3A school a chance to win a state championship. CAK came to play, Alcoa has had a hard time running.

Alcoa wins 14 to 3 close game,but we still win.Yes Alcoa did not score but 14 points,but they held Cak to 1 field goal.Spin it shake it run it thru the ringer a win is a win and looks like we are on our way to state again.I aint even going to acknowledge next weeks game.

The Milan/Camden game was a slugfest. A good defensive stand by Milan late in the 4th quarter lifted the Bulldogs to a victory. Looks like we'll be traveling to Nashville to play Goodpasture next week.
