Faith Dupree Knoxville standout has transferred to UTC from UT and will sit out a year and play there.

--Morristown West's Taylor Hall not at UTC any more and not

playing basketball (Jr. College in KY??)

--Cookeville's Erin Helton transferred to TTU from UTC and

not playing basketball.

--Upperman's Lashay Davis transferred to TTU and is sitting

out for this year.

--Clarkrange's Tasha Phillips transferred to Roane State from

Carson Newman and is playing this year.

--Amber Gray former UT Lady Vol from Ohio at Xavier after

medical issues at UT.

Some of the above is out of date now. Taylor Hall has decided to play again, has enrolled at UTC, will be suited up as soon as the fall classes at UTC are posted.

Sorry for my old news. it just camce out on the Chattanooga newspaper. As somehting that tends to happen, a certain percentage of players sign quickly(maybe without completely checking out the situation and considering the chemistry involved), and wind up playing closer to home. it would be interesting to know how many this happens to. There is nothing wrong in doing that, what is wrong is if one determines it is the wrong situation and find the right place to be. Some schools are tolerant of injuries and some may not be. I am for the student athlete. Most advisors are.
