Best pitchers in the state this year

All the pitchers listed are very talented physically but what seperates them from the rest of the field is their mental toughness in the circle. Had the opportunity to see Meagan Prince this summer, she is a solid pitcher that any team would love to have. She will be a force to be reckoned with over the next couple of years.

I think Shelby Heath will turn some heads this year at Blackman. She's got the smoke! I heard she was working with Connell. Also heard she had a good showing at Oakland last week pitching and hitting (1st homerun of the season).

HEARD FROM SOME JAMBOREES THIS WEEKEND.PITCHERS I HEARD LOOKED DOMINATING WAS THE KID FROM CHESTER CO.THAT LOOKED HAT PRETTY GOOD;(DON'T KNOW HER NAME OR AGE)ALSO THE GLENN GIRL FOR COVINGTON LOOKED PRETTY GOOD ALSO.THERE WAS A FRESHMAN FROM DYER CO.THAT DID NOT ALLOW BUT 2 RUNNERS ON BASE,AND THEY SAID DC WON 1-0 OVER COVINGTON.MY FRIEND CALLED THE GAME AND SAID SHE LOOKED AS GOOD AS ANY FRESHMEN HE HAS SEEN.I WAS AT BRIGHTON AND THE PITCHER FOR THEIR CLUB WAS PROBABLY THE BEST THERE.

Kinda suprised you thought Brighton's pitcher was the best there?? Since I heard that Brighton Lost to Trinity. Maybe I had bad info & you can clarify for us, since you were there?

When looking at the top pitchers listed, 5 of them play in the Fury organization. Haley Fagan, Lacey Walker, Erica Tuck, Anna Renfro & Fadnek. This is why Fury will continue to be strong this year.

Take it to the club teams forum <_<

A pitcher that will emerge this season is Katie Henderson from Silverdale Baptist in Chattanooga. This is the first time she has been truly healthy over the past 2 years. She had a great fall with her club team, and verbally committed to Kentucky this fall. Keep your eye on her. Great velocity, good curve, and nasty change up....

    • The only thing that was said at half time of the 45-0 game was Coach Story, he said: "I know y'all have been out there a lot, but kick-off team, y'all need to get down there faster!" Then he and the other coaches proceeded to go into the coaches office and we all went nuts!  It was the only time I can ever remember coaches not saying anything at half time. Definitely a great memory!!!
    • Boyd could actually be a grade below what he is now, but his parents didn't see the need to "redshirt" him like the other city school down the road would have pushed for....
    • too busy with flag football
    • Who invited the First Family of Hartsville?
    • When Danny was a senior he was the quarterback on the 82 team and also the placeholder on extra points. At the end of the game Heritage scored a touchdown with very little time left and went ahead 9-0. On the following extra point Danny rose up and threw a perfect pass to one of his receivers which made it 11-0 and Heritage's first win against Maryville since the series started in 77. Maryville fans were highly ticked off because they felt like it was rubbing salt in the wound. The following year when both teams met again at Maryville  the Rebels ran away with the game and after the first couple of touchdowns they went for two points after each score for a pay back and the score was 45-0 at halftime. The following Monday Bob Gilbert the sports eiditor for the local paper bashed Maryville in an article called the Humilation of Teenagers and tore into Maryville even though he was a graduate of the school. Those were the good ole days when Heritage had decent teams and the rivalry between them and Maryville was a fun event to see.
