Cosby is the northeast part of the state. Cosby boasted the District 2-A MVP post Brooklyn Stuart, but Stuart suffered a season ending knee injury in the region championship.

It's Cosby, not Crosby. They're from the mounatins up in Cocke County, about 10 miles south of Newport and 15 miles east of Gatlinburg. I'm originally from Newport but haven't lived there in 30 years. Honestly, I don't know anything about Cosby's team.....but I'll ask some friends who still live there.

Cosby plays in a weak district but came out of what I believe was 2 very good regions. Region 1 champ North Greene is also in murfreesboro by defeating region 2 runner up Coalfield with Cosby defeating region 2 champions Oakdale , all 4 are very good teams. Cosby is a well rounded team , has some good speed and quickness out front with some tough but not overly tall girls in the post. East Tn. will be represented well at this years state tourny. GO LADY EAGLES!!
