Don't really know yet what FCS team will show up when it counts. Gordonsville the team to beat in district 8 A at the mid season mark. Both teams had key player out due to injury.

You are right they are closely matched because they are not very good! What team in your district has beaten anyone with a winnin record? And who are they? Please answer this question!!!!

 

Your counterparts are in the same shape who have they beaten with a winnin record? Gettin to state is goin to be easy unless you catch Grace...then the "Fat Lady" will be singin you a goodbye song home!

G-Ville beat MJ in The Duff Tournament, 6-1 & MJ went on to win that tournament if i'm not mistaken. AND if i am also not mistaken, you ranked MJ #4 in last weeks poll. Last I checked, that counted for something.

G-Ville beat MJ in The Duff Tournament, 6-1 & MJ went on to win that tournament if i'm not mistaken. AND if i am also not mistaken, you ranked MJ #4 in last weeks poll. Last I checked, that counted for something.

 

I don't know in what tournament G-ville played MJ, but the Duff tournament isn't until this weekend, so it wasn't in the Duff.

 

Gordonsville has a very good team this year, quite possibly good enough to compete in the Spring Fling. The problem will be getting by one of the Chattanooga teams in the sub-state.

Guess I'm to used to seeing balls stay in out fielders gloves, infielders stopping balls that hit their gloves , and catchers making stops. Superfish you can add six more hits if you want to, I had them down for eight legit hits.

Mrknowitall is right about something and that is whoever meets up with Grace will be sent right back home. I would like to see an 8a team in state, but it is a MUST for the team to win the region. AS for the district, FCS has a good team and will get to host the tournament so it will be home games for them, so for a team to go in and beat a team like Friendship will be a tough task and will clearly have to be just a better overall team...

Gordonsville may be that team this year. I have been very impressed with what their coach has done in a few short years. Plays good small ball when needed,defense always moving to correct position during plays, girls excited for each other, nice job Coach. See you in Region Final!
