Not 100% on this one, but I am hearing that Beech is getting a powerhouse running back. He's young (sophomore), but supposed to be a machine. He was supposed to be the starting running back for a D-II team this year and the parents are supposedly moving him.

 

I haven't heard this. Not saying it's not true, just haven't heard it.

It's great to be underestimated. I love seeing folks on here picking Beech to only win 2 district games.

I don't believe that Beech had a powerhouse RB on last year's freshman team, which struggled at times. I do know that Beech will have a speedy 9th grade player who rushed for 1513 yards and 18 rushing TDs last year (in 7 games) for his middle school team. He should be an exciting player to watch develop.

9AAA sure getting a lot of respect by coaches in the state. I still say other than the M'boro district, 9AAA is as good top to bottom as any.

well murphy fair and some of you on this topic are way off base -

many are bashing H-Ville and BEECH , saying they are gonna be tough, but the coaches have them high up in the preseason polls ( one that many coaches base on last year and on name sake when they vote )

Beech is getting a running back from MBA. He is a sophomore. Don't know anything else about him.
