The East Hickman Eagles Basketball Organization will be hosting four FREE play days this winter for boys’ basketball teams in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grades. The dates of these play days will all be on Saturdays: November 19th, December 3rd, January 14th, and January 28th. You are welcome to sign up for as many play days as you want, but note that spaces are limited per division and will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Our November 19th play day is nearly full, but we do have space for one more 3rd or 4th grade team and one additional 5th or 6th grade team. All games will be held at East Hickman Middle School, which is located in Lyles, TN (8 minutes off of I-40 at Exit 172/Dickson, TN).

All teams are guaranteed at least 2 games. Games will be 14-minute halves (running clock) with clock stoppage only in the final minute of each half.

We welcome all school, recreational, and club/AAU teams. All scheduling needs will be met, if possible.

If you have any questions or are interested in signing your team up to join us for one or more of these days, you can contact Nick Simmons at (931) 224-0736 or through e-mail at nicholas.simmons@hickman.k12tn.net

    • QUICK UPDATE -  First, I see a lot of wrestling names that I recognize on that GoFundMe.  THANK YOU so much for helping this family.   After the long surgery on Sunday morning to repair his neck, Jacob suffered a collapsed lung.  Sometimes this happens after long surgeries.  They had to put him on a ventilator to get his breathing back on track.  He came off the vent on Monday morning and they put a BIPAP on him to help control his breathing.  As of today, Thursday, the BIPAP came off and he is breathing well on his own.  He is working towards drinking a glass of water and hopefully eating some solid food at some point in the near future. Jacob can "feel" when someone touches his legs, but there is still no movement.  His parents are beginning to prepare for him to be moved to the Shepherd Center in the next few days.  He will be there in Atlanta for 30-45 days.  Im sure he will receive excellent treatment. Please continue to pray for healing for him and if you are so moved, please contribute to the gofundme link above to help in any way you can.  The go fund me is doing well, but this is going to be a very long road for these guys Im afraid.. Thanks again! Sells
