I see all the home teams winning in the first round. After that it will probably be Spring Hill and Harpeth. I think S.H. is definitely the class of the region and I see Fairview as the weakest. After that I dont think there is a whole lot of seperation among the other 6 teams. You dont have to be the better team in the tournament to advance, you just have to score more points in that one game.Every year there are some big upsets and that makes this is a fun time of year. I just hate that Creek Wood is not still playing, but they will be back next year. I also think Giles and Camden could be the most exciting 1st round game. Both teams can score in bunches.Good luck 11 AA.

Marshall County came to Ashland City tonight with an onslaught of 3-pointers but in the end the Cheatham County Cubs survive and advance by a count of 69-65. The Tigers knocked down 12 three-pointers but couldn't overcome the 1-2 punch of Jake Saunders (23 points) and Thatcher Brinkley (20 points). The Cubs move on to East Hickman next Tuesday night to face-off with Spring Hill (who defeated Waverly tonight).

Cheatham beats Marshall by 4

Spring Hill beats Waverly by 20

11-AA EARNED A SPLIT AGAINST 12-AA AND PROVED THAT THEY ARE "BETTER" THIS TIME AROUND! I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE 2 SEMIFINAL MATCHUPS ON TUESDAY NIGHT AT EAST HICKMAN HIGH SCHOOL! GO 11-AA!

Yeah i watch a little of their tape and if I was Camden I would run 3-2 zone because they are not great shooters. They like to penitrate to the basket and dish off or pull up and take a 6 to 10 foot shot. You take away their driving lanes I think Camden can beat them. If Camden plays man to man all night, its going to be a long night.

Camden try to play man to man most of the night and it cost them a WIN. I know you said you hate zone coach and that you would never play one, but tonight it cost you and your team a WIN.

    • He may have possibly said that to get the best out of him. Back when I was in school word got out I was going to transfer and Coach Story popped off and ask Coach Wilson in front of the team if Maryville was going to get a jock strap in return on this trade. That got back to me and I got fired up and stayed just to show them up. Now today Coach Story is one of my best friends.
    • Dylan's Dad, I'm glad you replied. I wanted to reply but wasnt willing to take the bait. There were 20 wrestlers on the team. I may be mistaken and correct me if I'm wrong but I believe 5 of the 20 attend McCallie right now and one will next year. At most, there are/were 6 kids on that team who attend McC. That leaves 14 other team members who have ZERO affiliation with McC (outside of maybe some friends) who represented our state to the best of their ability and wrestled their butts off that weekend. That weekend was a first for Tennessee and obviously a small step in the right direction for us as a state. Congratulations TEAM TN BLACK!
