I agree with Lebanon being only team to win Saturday.

 

It's hard to think that Coach Allen won't have a great game plan for Springfield, so I could never count them out. 

 

I believe Northwest and Lebanon will both move on pretty handily. 

Panther are you saying Northwest & Lebanon in the region final or just move on handily on Saturday?  I think Springfield may be to much for Lebanon in the semis.  Hope I'm wrong though.

ok, thanks.  I wonder why aren't the other regions doing the same thing.  Region 6 AAA games are all at Centennial HS including the first round.

Saturday: Boys: Overton vs. Independence, 3:30 p.m.; Summit vs. Antioch, 5 p.m.; Centennial vs. Cane Ridge, 6:30 p.m.; Hillsboro at Brentwood, 8 p.m.

Monday: Girls: Semifinals, Hunters Lane-Dickson Co. winner vs. Ravenwood-Cane Ridge winner, 6 p.m.; Franklin-Hillsboro winner vs. Antioch-Centennial winner, 7:30 p.m.

I believe Region 6AAA is the only region in the state that has all quarterfinal games at one site.  They have to petition TSSAA every 2 years to keep this going.  The only reason they get approval is because all of the teams are geographically so close (Davidson and Williamson County + Dickson County).

9AAA wins 3 of the 4 games. Beech will play Clarksville NE and Lebanon plays Mt.Juliet.

Wow what a night for 9aaa! Big road wins for MJ and Beech, I definitely didn't see either of those coming. MJ and Lebanon Tues night in a win or go home game should be intense!

Maybe this district isn't as bad as everyone thinks. It may not have the best talent and athleticism, but the teams from this district play at another level of toughness and discipline that other district don't. Also it helps that year in and out they have the most experienced and successful coaches in the state.

MJsays that all the time never happens . they in the sweet 16 but can they make it to the elite 8 in glass house . Very favorable match ups for them only team I felt they didn't match up well was Summit . They lost but if I was MJ I wouldn't want to play Independence . Murphy on a mission to get to Murfree . Well i heard how great a coach MJ coach is . the only way they don't make state is bad coaching . Just my opinion . You beat a great Springfield team then knock off #1 Lebanon . You have a 3 seed now in Clarksville NE . So first region championship in how long MJ?
