coachknepper
What happened to the region? Some weight classes just don't have alot of horses. I just reviewed the brackets and 126, 160, 170, and 195, look weaker than normal. Match 622 and 632 look interesting. Good luck to all. Where on the website can i find the brackets...?? StarRaider
Where on the website can i find the brackets...?? Go here http://www.thewrestlingtourney.com/ Click Tennessee on the map It will take you to a list of tournaments, click Region V on the left side Then go to the reports on the upper right hand tab, then hit brackets. You can probably figure it out from there. It is definitely not user friendly. This might work as a direct link to the brackets as they are right now. If the brackets change this link may not work any more. http://www.thewrestl.../1328897668.pdf Edited February 10, 2012 by StarRaider

HSDAD
120 Kaferle (TUL) vs. Grant (SEG) Sommers (BLK) vs. Insalaco (WIL) <note: Quinones (LAV) could make some noise> Kaferle over Insalaco <<winner here could get MOW-lightweight>> I guess everyone watched a different match @ Regional duals??? Sommers owned Insalaco. Insalaco loses 8 out of 10 times.

Sommers owned Insalaco. Insalaco loses 8 out of 10 times. Sommers did own Insalaco in their match to get to the finals against Kaferle. Sommers showed a lot of heart in the final match wrestling with a bad knee, but came up short 10-2.
HSDAD
Seems to me that Region 5 is having a bad year. Looking at the finals, there were very few close matches. Top guy and then a big drop to second place. Good luck to all @ State! Congrats to the Blaze and the Cats for their dominating finish in the Region! HSDAD
I like your picks. I think that the outcome will be decided at the seeding meeting. There are bad match ups in the region. A ranked wrestler could fall before the final. I would really like to see a freshman win the region and place this year. He's just got to believe !!! Congrats to your freshman 220 coach! I believe! That ranked wrestler still has another year to win a regional championship. Good luck next week.
Sommers
Very good point about more pins, majors and TF's this year. It appears to be the case this season and for some time actually, all over our great state of Tennessee. Ebbs & Flows,,, I have noticed many underclassmen coming up around the state, including RegionFive. We are loaded with talented 9th & 10th graders getting their first exposure to state. Besides My Personal favorite wrestler at 120, Heres my list of Region Five Superstars, some maybe not so obvious, but definitely Superstars IMHO... Dodson(Casey and Ellis both) Great Fight!! and Under Classmen. (plus more Sommers' cousins) Cyree ,,,One of the Regions Finest and I believe in ninth as well!! Alec Myers... So proud of our TWO Year Wrestler Pinning his way to Gold!!! And to think he even upset D-2's number One Elsie earlier this year?!?! Kaferly... What more can be said?? The obvious Super Star! Proud of Prep for The Big Dance!! Cookeville's Benson and his two years on the mat as a ninth grader and able to bench... 240 pounds!!!!!!!!!!! Gonyea has a little stud coming up too!! Of course, The Super Star iin the Sommers House Hold... LeGrand- who we are grateful can even step on the mat!!!! (Con't) Side note: After The Great Veteran Coach Parrish of LaVergne, IMO... Coach Bray deserves Coach of the year Honors as he pulls off the big region duals championship and a close second in Individuals here below: TSSAA Region V Tournament Place Team Score 1. Wilson Central 204.00 2. Blackman 203.00 3. Cookeville 167.00 4. Tullahoma 133.50 5. Siegel 132.50 6. Riverdale 112.50 7. Mt. Juliet 90.50 8. LaVergne 79.00 9. Oakland 74.00 10. Forrest 69.00 11. Eagleville 65.00 12. Lebanon 50.00 13. Coffee County 49.00 14. Smyrna 44.00 15. Franklin County 36.00 16. Lawrence County 21.00 17. Warren County 19.00 18. Livingston Academy 15.00 19. Shelbyville 11.00 20. Lincoln County 8.00 Oh, Let's Keep Jack Faircloth in our prayers as he had a sudden set back but will recover soon and be doing his 1000 push ups per day soon!!!! Again more to come...
Sommers
Region five Super Stars!! (cont.) Eddie Small and His Improvement over last season!! Feuerbacher ...MAY EVEN BE BETTER THAN HIS OLDER BROTHER AT MTSU!! Well, maybe going back five years ago?!?! ...Watch Out Class of 2015, 14, 13 and even 12!!! He's Exploding!! Kelly Olds (Lbn) Unbelievable little Muscle Man who reminded me of The World Famous Kyle Maynard a few years back in GA...He was giving out Fabulous Freshman Tyler Garrison a match until a match ending injury default. Congrats Mr. Olds!! Hope you get ready quick for State!! Satterfield was powerful and held off our usually dominate Super Soph Sells!! As Expected, Matt Seaman - Excelled and appears to be back to form!! Looks more dominate than his 2x finalist older brother did!!! Probably from the oldest pounding him every day?!?!? Sean Kennedy - Riverdale's lucky find, is fascinating as a 152 freshman!! Blake Solomon - Eagleville's Super Star for sure!! Very Proud of this Stripling Warrior!! (cont.)
